Allison Woznica
Allison Woznica is a Kripalu-certified, 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with over a decade of teaching experience. Her journey with yoga began through Yoga Therapy—a guided, introspective approach that focuses on listening to the body’s internal signals. This foundational practice evolved into regular participation in traditional asana-based classes, deepening her connection to both mind and body.
Yoga has had a transformative impact on her life. After struggling for thirteen years with depression and an eating disorder, she discovered that yoga offered a path to healing and self-understanding. Through mindful movement, breathwork, and meditation, she was able to reconnect with herself and develop greater emotional balance and resilience.
Her weekly classes incorporate guided meditation and Pranayama (breathwork) at both the beginning and end of each session. The physical practice (asana) varies week to week, with a focus on stretching and strengthening the entire body in a mindful and compassionate manner. Her approach is inclusive and supportive, welcoming students of all ages and experience levels.
Her teaching philosophy is best captured by her motto: “No flexibility? No problem. The only flexibility required is your mind.” This reflects her commitment to creating a safe and accessible environment where every student feels empowered in their practice.
Currently, she teaches yoga at Champions Fitness Center on Sundays at 10:15 AM.
