Galina Donescu

Galina Donescu is originally from Romania and came to the United States in 2002 after winning the Green Card Lottery – a golden opportunity that changed her life. She later earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Economics from Empire State College.

Though she has a strong appreciation for numbers, Galina’s true passion lies in dance. About ten years ago, she began taking Zumba classes and quickly fell in love -not only with the high-energy atmosphere, but also with the physical and emotional benefits. That experience inspired her to become a dance fitness instructor.

She currently teaches Aqua Dance on Thursday nights at 6:00 PM at Champions Fitness Center, where her goal is to help others achieve their fitness goals while having fun.
