Lisa Schweinsburg

Hello my name is Lisa Schweinsburg. Fitness has been a passion of mine for the past 20 years.

I was not a high school athlete. My fitness journey started later in my life when I was nearly 30 years old. I decided to make a change in my life with regards to nutrition and exercise. I joined Kelly Lynn in 2004 and through hard work and dietary changes I reached my goals.

I was really upset when Kelly Lynn closed, but merging with Champions turned out to be amazing. I have met so many wonderful people and it presented me with the opportunity to become a part-time instructor.

I have been a Registered Dental hygienist for 25 years, I have an associates degree in Arts and An Associates in Applied Science/Dental Hygiene. I started out in college pursuing an Education degree as I had always wanted to be a teacher. Soon into the Education program I realized this path was not right for me. So I feel so fortunate to now be teaching something I love. I strive to keep classes new and different, using a variety of equipment in classes to keep challenging members to get outside their comfort zone.

Nothing is more rewarding than instructing members of all ages and fitness levels. Watching members confidence and love for fitness grow is truly the best part of my job.
