Premier Fitness Class Descriptions:

***Aqua Arthritis – A class that is designed to be a safe and effective way for people with arthritis to stay fit. Add-on options for both members and non-members are available at the front desk.
***Senior Strength – A small group strength training class for people 62 and over to ensure continued functional movements. Use of cable machines, dumbbells, nautilus equipment, and more to improve balance, muscle mass, and strength. Various options given for a variety of abilities.

Group Fitness Class Descriptions:

Zumba – A class that fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves. Your instructor will take the “work” out of workout by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Yoga – A class that introduces the fundamental principles of alignment and breath work in a flow of postures linked together by the breath. Participants will be introduced to yoga postures through step-by-step verbal description and demonstration.
Gentle Yoga – A class which concentrates on physical health and mental well-being. Using bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques(pranayama), and meditation techniques(dyana) students will achieve a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. 360 FIIT – A multi-dimensional total body sculpting and cardio interval class designed to challenge the entire body. Total Sculpt – A class that focuses on strength training using various tools such as weights, bands and body weight for an optimal fat burning workout. Boot Camp – A class that includes a combination of strength, cardio, muscle endurance, flexibility, core and functional movement patterns designed to work the entire body. HIIT & Bag – A class that combines boot camp exercises and intense bursts of cardiovascular intervals, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods and bag work. *Gloves required. Kickboxing – A class that combines martial arts techniques with fast-paced cardio intervals. Challenging the beginner and elite athlete, this high-energy workout will build stamina, improve coordination and flexibility, burn calories and build lean muscle. *Gloves required. Spin – A cardio class designed to provide you with the optimum in fat burning and strength building. Your instructor will guide you through a ride that will simulate varied terrain as you tackle rolling hills, sprints and other drills to give you a great interval workout. Barre – A class that mixes elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and functional training, all choreographed to motivating music. In each energizing and targeted workout, you’ll use the barre and exercise equipment to sculpt, slim and stretch your entire body. PiYo – A low-impact class that is designed to build strength, improve flexibility and tone muscles. Using your own body weight, you will perform a series of high-intensity moves while working every muscle for a long, lean and incredibly defined physique. Experience real results through non-stop movement that burns serious calories and gets your heart pumping! Pilates – A class that consists of low-impact flexibility, muscular strength and endurance movements. Your instructor will emphasize proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance.

Pool Class Descriptions:

H20 Circuit – A class that incorporates a variety of strength, cardio and multi-joint movements in the water utilizing circuit training principles. Cardio Splash – An action packed class that combines aerobic and muscle conditioning with the benefits of water resistance. Aqua Barre – A new innovative class that allows you to experiences isometric movements that tone every muscle in the body. Learn how ballet-inspired movements and gentle resistance can strengthen the arms, legs and core.
